A Waterjet Reed is a specially engineered reed designed exclusively for waterjet looms, which use water as the weft insertion medium to weave synthetic filament yarns (polyester, nylon) at ultra-high speeds. The dents have a special cross-section profile that optimises water flow, minimises dent wear from constant water exposure, and maintains consistent weft insertion accuracy.
